Gas flex is a specialized type of flexible tubing that incorporates several key features to enhance its performance and durability. The hose itself is constructed from a corrugated stainless steel core, which provides flexibility and strength. The corrugations allow the hose to bend and conform to various shapes and installations without kinking or losing its shape. This makes it ideal for applications where traditional rigid piping might be impractical or too rigid.
Performance of Gas Flex
The main elastic element of flexible expansion joint is stainless steel bellows. Through the expansion and bending of bellows, the flexible expansion joint the pipeline in axial, transverse and angular directions. Flexible expansion joint can play the following roles:
1. The Flex hose pipe absorbs the axial, transverse and angular thermal deformation of the pipeline.
2. Gas flex can absorb equipment vibration and reduce the influence of equipment vibration on pipeline.
3. Gas flex can absorb the pipeline deformation caused by earthquake and land subsidence.
